Help Sacha with cancer recovery

Donation protected
Dear family, friends, and fellow music lovers,

I am reaching out on behalf of my beloved cousin, Sacha Boutros—a gifted musician, philanthropist, and community organizer with a heart as big as her talent. Since she was a child in grade school, Sacha has spent her life sharing her voice with the world, bringing joy to so many primarily through her music but also in her quest to make the world just that much better with her every interaction, and with the communities she serves. She has always dedicated herself to others: working with tons of nonprofits throughout Southern California, various orphanages in Mexico, and charitable organizations in Paris to uplift the underprivileged and give back to those in need.

Unfortunately, now she's the one who needs our help and I'm calling on our community to help support her.

Over the past three years, Sacha has faced some serious health challenges, most notably a stroke and recently the discovery of a tumor that was pressing on her diaphragm last year causing excruciating and uncontrollable pain. Fortunately at the time she was a surgical candidate and she had it removed. Yet she said nothing to anyone to not cause alarm, thinking that it was a short lived yet horrible experience. We all falsely thought that her year-long ordeal was over, but sadly a few months later she felt a familiar and sudden sharp pain and blacked out. A new scan revealed that the tumor had returned aggressively and she was devastated.

The first doctor she went to see recommended chemo and radiation and it did not sit well with my cousin. Fortunately she had an understanding doctor in her corner who accepted her rejection of chemo and radiation and offered her cryoablation, a potential alternative that gave her new hope. Navigating this diagnosis has not only taken a toll on her health but has also left her unable to work or perform, creating a tremendous financial strain and thus my motivation for seeking help for her through this platform.

As long as I can remember, Sacha has always been the one lifting others up, using her time, talents, and powerful community spirit to help those in need. From fundraisers for others such as this one, to even singing for kids of impoverished communities, she always gives endlessly without expecting anything in return; it's how our grandparents and parents raised us.

Any contribution if you're reading this, no matter how small, will help ease the financial burden of all these medical expenses and lost income, allowing her to focus on what matters most—healing and recovery.

If you are unable to donate, your love, prayers, and words of encouragement mean just as much. Please also consider sharing this fundraiser to help spread the word whether you donate or not. Power in numbers, faith, and determination is how the impossible becomes possible!

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support. We can’t wait to see our beautiful Sachita back on stage doing what she loves, helping out the local orphanage, radiating her bright energy into everyone's soul, and continuing to inspire us all.

With endless and profound gratitude,
Jando

UPDATE July 12, 2025. Sacha continues to be in daily pain. She is trying to get her voice back but it knocks her out for 24 hours at a time if she tries to sing. The wound hurts inmensely even when trying to put pants on. She is trying everything to gather income to continue live and living well below her means. Currently she is working on launching a sound healing and spiritual guidance space in her hometown so she can get more stable income and not have to rely on these donations, although every dollar helps go to food rent utilities while she is unable to sing. She is really trying to reinvent herself at every turn but without a conventional resume stacked with a stable W-2 history the options are limited so she must do it herself pulling herself up and reimagining what stability and joy looks like in today’s world. For now, these donations provide just the right cushion for her to get back on her feet- the effort is more than there; she’s not sitting around doing nothing please take my word for it- I see the daily struggle most do not. I love her like a sister and our whole family is supporting her where we can. Thank you all for reading and if you are unable to give, consider posting the link on your social media pages in lieu of a donation so everyone can help in some way. It takes a village! But together we can help build comminity and help our beloved Sachita in her time of need. Thank you so so much
