We are two individuals, Su Latt and Hothal Patel, based in the U.S., coming together to raise funds for relief efforts following the 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar and parts of Thailand on March 28, 2025.

One of us has family in Myanmar, and while they are safe, they’ve witnessed firsthand the devastation and loss caused by the earthquake. Thousands of lives have been lost, many more have been injured, and entire communities have been displaced. Seeing the impact on her home country, she wanted to take action—and together, we decided to launch this fundraiser to help those most affected.

We are raising funds to support Better Burma, a U.S.-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works with trusted partners inside Myanmar to deliver life-saving emergency aid. We chose Better Burma because of their transparency, local connections, and their focus on getting resources directly to the people who need them most.
