Main Street Service Industry Fund (Munch Box NC)
Did you know we just had our soft opening on 3/7, just as this pandemic hit the US!? Who knew this was going to happen; we certainly didn't when getting ready weeks before hand? We had big plans for our grand opening on 3/17 but had to postpone like many other events. We are very vulnerable as you can imagine and would have never thought to ask for help, but we are in a desperate situation as a new restaurant here on Main Street in Burnsville, NC.
To give you a little background on us, Steve and Jennifer Langston...we were looking for a mountain town to put down roots and eventually retire. We fell in LOVE with Burnsville/the people and moved here a little under a year ago (we are here to stay). We’ve owned three restaurants in the past and knew we wanted to open one here. When we had the opportunity to do so it was a dream come true for us. Steve's passion is cooking, and you will see him right at Munch Box NC doing just that! We promise you will not be disappointed - the portions are abundant; prices are fair, and our food is scrumptious.
Our greatest desire is to serve this community long into the future. Every little bit counts and will go directly towards Munch Box NC-our dedicated crew. We are SO grateful for your love and support during this time. I have faith as a community we WILL get through this. Steve and I are praying over you, Munchers!
