Our mother, Eva Rodriguez, is reaching a milestone birthday, and we would like to surprise her with one of her favorite things. As you may know, she is passionate about the work of Operation of Hope and works hard fundraising all year in order to help provide surgeries for children. Operation of Hope is an all-volunteer group that goes to several undeveloped countries to perform Cleft Lip and Cleft Palate Repair.
She began volunteering with the group in 2006 in Ecuador. Seeing how the surgeries gave life changing hopes to many families, she has continued with the group. She raves about the staff of doctors, nurses and non-medical volunteers who spend their time and own money on this commitment to the children. She has taken friends and family to volunteer with her, to show them the work of this outstanding organization.
We are asking in lieu of gifts, if you would please make a donation to Operation of Hope. Your donation is tax deductible and all funds collected here go directly to Operation of Hope. It is because of donors like YOU, amazing doctors and volunteers are able to give their time and talent toward making these surgeries happen. A typical surgery cost $250, so we have set a goal of $2,500 in order to provide 10 surgeries during her next trip in January 2020. Please donate what you can, no amount is too small!
