Hello, my name is Edgardo, and today I’m asking for the support of our community to stand for something fundamental: justice and the reunification of a family.
My wife, Pahola Ortega, who has legal status in the United States, was unjustly detained by ICE without being given the opportunity to present her full documentation or receive the due process that every person deserves. Everything happened suddenly, without a clear explanation, and without considering her legal standing or her professional history.
Before this situation, Pahola was a dedicated, hardworking, and exceptional professional.
She worked as a banker at Wells Fargo, where she became the number one performer in her position for two consecutive years.
That level of excellence shows exactly who she is: disciplined, ethical, and committed.
This detention changed our lives overnight.
We lost our home, our belongings, and our financial stability.
But we have not lost our determination or our belief that humanity and justice still matter.
This campaign aims to cover:
• Legal fees and attorney costs
• Administrative and documentation expenses
• Pahola’s safe return to Colombia while we continue fighting her case
• Initial support for her stability once she arrives
As a way to give back, and because I want this help to be a two-way effort, I will be offering a special seminar and exclusive training content for everyone who contributes, using my experience as a coach and instructor. I will also share this with my students so the positive impact reaches even more people.
If you’re able to contribute, every donation — big or small — truly makes a difference.
And if you can’t donate, sharing this campaign also helps more than you imagine.
Thank you for taking the time to read, for supporting, and for showing that justice and humanity still exist through real actions.
— Edgardo
