We are continuously overwhelmed by the amount of support and prayers we receive, and we are asking again if any of you would be so generous. Julie has been home for many weeks now, not physically able to travel to some appointments, and to say the least …this is the hardest it’s been yet in this journey. Her husband Aaron as always has been right by her side. Julie has been in and out of the hospital with severe pneumonia, and extreme abdominal pains that she continues to fight daily.

Our family is strong, but no family should have to face this. The best way you could help right now is prayer, and donation. Please help my sisters family and know that we all thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Many of you may know my older sister Julie Mathews and may be familiar with her cancer journey. There have been SO MANY people who have helped us along the way as she has faced countless battles, and she has another big one next week.

Julie is the STRONGEST person I know. Honestly even me accompanying her to some appointments and things and what I have seen...I know I truly don't know the half of what my sister and her husband and kids have had to endure. Despite being diagnosed with this beast over 6 years ago, Julie is always positive and giving God the glory ... never wavering in her faith. This type of Sarcoma cancer she has is relentless and despite numerous treatment options over the years, Julie continues to do WHATEVER it takes to fight.

Cancer has unfortunately taken so much from my sister. The "small things" as many would call them. The ability to be able to drive her kids to school, the burden of having to miss so many events, the nonstop being on the road and in so much bone pain. She is graceful and strong and resilient ALL the time, but once again we are really asking for some help.

Julie will face a brain surgery, followed by a recovery process, which will all be in Texas at MD Anderson because we are fortunate enough to be at one of the best Cancer hospitals, and my sister and her husband advocate HARD for themselves. After the brain surgery, the next step will be radiation. In order to help Julie have less financial stress on top of ALL the other stress right now, we are asking if you are able to donate it would help TREMENDOUSLY as she has been unable to work for quite some time due to this sickness. Her husband Aaron has been steadily by her side and that's where we would like him to stay, so he will be missing work for an undetermined amount of time at this time as well.
