Julie Robbins and Ryan Query were preparing for their dream wedding, set for April 24th, 2017 in Charleston, South Carolina. The dress was ready, tux ordered, menu selected, and invitations sent.  On March 22nd, Ryan died unexpectantly of natural causes, leaving behind his bride, their infant son, and family and friends who are stunned and heartbroken.

Julie and Ryan were the winners of a national contest last summer--A Lowcountry Wedding Giveaway. With the support of the region's best wedding businesses, we offered a $40,000 dream wedding to the winning couple. It was going to be a joyful occasion after a long, difficult journey of learning how to be new parents to their baby, born with spina bifida and in need of a tremendous amount of ongoing medical care. We are deeply saddened that they cannot experience the wedding they had been dreaming about. Through this fund, we hope to rally together-- friends and strangers alike--to send Julie and her child a financial gift to help ease the financial stress of Ryan's death. It's in the midst of tragedy that compassion and love shine brightest. Thank you to all who can contribute to this fund. May our donations deliver comfort to Julie and Ryan's family during this most difficult time.  Julie's good friend, Elizabeth Phillips is helping to manage the donations from all of the friends and strangers who have generously donated to Julie and Caden.
