Tony's Social Venture Partners Campaign
Tax deductible
Some of you know that I've been part of an amazing non-profit called Social Venture Partners (SVP) both in LA and now Colorado, and was recently elected to their Board of Directors. It's been incredibly rewarding to impact the big issues that are effecting us all.
Unlike some non-profits, SVP's work can be a little complicated to explain - but is no-less important, and is unique.
Simply put, SVP is a non-profit that strengthens other non-profits.
We give cash grants, provide training to non-profit leadership, and (most importantly) volunteer our time to help non-profits get organized and achieve their goals. We touch dozens of non-profits, including organizations that serve food to the hungry, provide early childhood education, give homes to the homeless and at-risk youth, and advocate for neglected children – just to name a few. Some non-profits we help include the YWCA, Community Food Share, Attention Homes, Voices for Children, and many, many more.
Since our founding we've donated over $6.6 million in consulting time and $1.6 million in cash grants to strengthen non-profits in Boulder County. In 2018 alone, we worked with over 100 non-profits.
But we need outside support to maintain our work! Your donation, yes, will be hugely appreciated (by me especially), but more importantly allows us to continue to help the most vulnerable in our communities. Anything helps!
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to get involved in another way, I'm humbled and thankful that you've read this.
Sincerely,
Tony
Oh, and yes it's tax deductible :-)
