Recently, my Uncle Jon very suddenly died from cancer. His loss devastated myself and my family. For all our progress, especially in that of epidemiology, there seems something terribly wrong with the continued prevalence of such a debilitating and often fatal disease.

In memory of Jon and for the wider cause of tackling cancer, I dedicate my run of the Prague Marathon on the 3rd of May 2026. If not for Jon, then perhaps for someone else you have known and loved whom you have lost to cancer, join me in making a difference and help raise money to benefit Cancer Research UK.
