​I am writing this from a cold, damp tent in Gaza, where the thin fabric is the only thing between us and the freezing sky. My name is Ahmed Shaheen, a father of four children who have already endured too much. I carry the scars of a physical injury that has changed my life, but my greatest wound is the helplessness I feel when I see my children shivering from the biting cold.

​But my heart doesn't only ache for my own children. In the midst of this darkness, I have taken it upon myself to be a beacon of hope for my relatives and neighbors who are suffering just as we are. Despite my injury and our shared hunger, I have been a volunteer and an initiator, working tirelessly to gather donations and support for those around me in the displacement camps.

​Today, the situation has become critical. The 'Triple-Layer Smart Tent' (The Smart Trio) is no longer a luxury—it is a survival necessity. I am launching this campaign to secure a warm, insulated shelter for my family and to continue my mission in supporting the vulnerable families around me who look to me for hope.
