We’re two best friends from a country where dreams often feel far away, but we’ve held onto one for almost two decades.

For nearly 18 years, I’ve loved Jennifer Lopez. Her music, her strength, her energy! she’s been with me through every heartbreak, every celebration, every long day and lonely night. A few years ago, through one of her fans, I met someone who would become the safest, most meaningful person in my life my best friend. We’ve shared so much together, and J.Lo's music has always been part of our bond.

Now, for the first time, we have the chance to see her live in concert. But here’s the hard part: we live in a country where the economic situation makes it almost impossible for us to afford something like this. Even though we both work and study, $1,500 is beyond what we can realistically manage on our own right now.
