Hello, I’m Foluke, founder of the PRECIOUS Awards.

For nearly two decades, the PRECIOUS Awards have celebrated the brilliance, resilience, and impact of Black women and women of colour in business and leadership across the UK.

We’ve recognised hundreds of women — founders, change-makers, community leaders — whose work has inspired others to dream bigger, lead boldly, and create lasting change. Many of you reading this are part of that story.

This year, however, we’re facing our biggest challenge yet.

Despite months of outreach, we currently have one corporate sponsor (a former winner of the PRECIOUS Awards) — a reflection of the wider pushback against DEI that so many of us are seeing across industries. But I refuse to let that stop us.

The PRECIOUS Awards have always been powered by community. And now, we need that community more than ever.

I’m asking for your help to ensure that this year’s 19th Annual PRECIOUS Awards — a night that honours the achievements and legacies of incredible women — can go ahead in the way our finalists and winners deserve.

Why this matters

PRECIOUS has never just been an awards ceremony.

It;s a space where we see ourselves reflected. A platform that reminds the world - and each other - that our stories, our work, and our success matter.

To lose this moment of celebration would be to silence something powerful.
