He was preparing for a day of hard work, something he did every day to provide for his family, but was unable to even enter the building before he was detained.

Robert's family is everything to him. He is a loving husband and a dedicated father to his two young children, ages 1 and 8, and they have a new baby on the way. His wife, M (using first initial for privacy), is a permanent resident and works hard to care for their family, but the sudden loss of Robert's income has created a devastating and urgent situation. She is now shouldering the entire emotional and financial burden of keeping their family afloat.The family is struggling to cover basic needs like rent and food, while also facing the immense cost of legal fees as they fight to bring Robert home.
