Help Restore Bolton Mansion's Damaged Shutters

As some of you may know, earlier this year Bolton Mansion was broken into on several occasions by the same individual. Through the help of our wonderful community, we were able to determine her identity and begin the process of pressing charges.

Unfortunately, the wheels of justice move slowly and there is no certainty that we will ever receive financial restitution from the individual for the damages that she caused. While she thankfully did not cause any harm inside the mansion, our shutters were damaged to the tune of $1,515.00. It may not seem like much, but unplanned costs such as this set us back from our restoration goals, and eat into funds that need to be used for regular maintenance.

We are therefore asking our community once again for assistance. We have set up this go fund me to cover the cost of repairs while we wait for any financial compensation from the perpetrator. If we are able to recover the cost from her in the future, the funds will go towards other maintenance and repair projects that already on our “to-do” list.
