Namaste to all our lovely families and friends around the globe.

Our hearts are bleeding for the people in Nepal, and we feel deeply for all of those impacted and the lives lost in this horrific unfolding of events. Personally, Ram Bhandari’s side of things no immediate family or relative’s lives are lost, but his Mum’s house half is damaged, cost of redoing this will be around $20K. On top of that all the Adventure Hub Nepal River equipment has been buried underneath clay mud which has been damaged to what extent we don’t know until we can clean up and uncover all the mud and debris. We are still working around the clock to safely manage that and work around it whatever we can.
What is an important part now is the Bhandari family, Adventure Hub Nepal team and all our lovely family and friends from around the globe to work together to create the best possibility for fundraising. Please help us to contribute as much as we can for this great curse and get help and support to people who need it most.
Every penny you donate will go directly to people who need it most in this time, and we are targeting to raise minimum 50K $AUD for right now.

What happened.

The preliminary analysis by the Nepal disaster authority indicates that an ice and rockfall in Tibet blocked the Lhende River, a tributary of the Bhote Kosi river on the other side of the Nepalese border and Nepalese side of the border we call the Trishuli River.

The resulting outburst flood swept downstream into Rasuwa with devastation force.

The impact and ongoing updates.

Communities, homes. roads, bridges, hydropower infrastructures and border facilities were severely damaged or washed away.
Search, rescue and relief operations are underway with the Nepalese Army, Police and disaster management teams working to support affected communities.
Our thoughts, prayers and deepest condolences are with the affected families and communities.

We are deeply grateful to share that our family and relatives at Adventure Hub Nepal team are safe, sadly many others have not been so fortunate and have suffered unimaginable loss of life and livelihood of Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading districts. These three districts have been declared A State of Emergency for 3 months! Everything is shut down; all hands are on deck to try and rebuild what has been lost. No power or running water is hindering clean-up efforts.

Rasuwa Flash Flood & How You Can Help 26th August 2026
As many of you around the world will now have heard or seen on the TV news, Rasuwa District in the northern part of Nepal was struck by a devastating flash flood on the morning of 26th of August 2026 causing widespread destruction of infrastructure and loss of human lives.

• Baireni Hospital which has been affected and lost all equipment like hospital beds, office computers and printers to even run every day-to-day procedure treating injured people. We would like to buy them at least 2 to 3 computers and printers straight away so they can treat the people who come to hospital right now for basic needs before they refer to Kathmandu main hospital with all necessary facilities’ further treatments.
• Shree Bageshwari High School in Baireni Dhading will need replacements of study desks and chairs for at least 250 of them, 16 computers and the table and science laboratories for students. This for roughly 400 to 600 hundred students.
• Help rebuild communities and individual families affected by the catastrophe on a case-by-case basis.
