 Our hearts are bleeding for the people in Nepal, and we feel deeply for all of those impacted and the lives lost in this horrific unfolding of events. Personally, Ram Bhandari’s side of things no immediate family or relative’s lives are lost, but his Mum’s house half is damaged, cost of redoing this will be around $20K. On top of that all the Adventure Hub Nepal River equipment has been buried underneath clay mud which has been damaged to what extent we don’t know until we can clean up and uncover all the mud and debris. We are still working around the clock to safely manage that and work around it whatever we can.

 What is an important part now is the Bhandari family, Adventure Hub Nepal team and all our lovely family and friends from around the globe to work together to create the best possibility for fundraising.  The preliminary analysis by the Nepal disaster authority indicates that an ice and rockfall in Tibet blocked the Lhende River, a tributary of the Bhote Kosi river on the other side of the Nepalese border and Nepalese side of the border we call the Trishuli River.

 The resulting outburst flood swept downstream into Rasuwa with devastation force.

 We are deeply grateful to share that our family and relatives at Adventure Hub Nepal team are safe, sadly many others have not been so fortunate and have suffered unimaginable loss of life and livelihood of Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading districts. These three districts have been declared A State of Emergency for 3 months! Everything is shut down; all hands are on deck to try and rebuild what has been lost. No power or running water is hindering clean-up efforts.
