On October 28, 2025, a Category 5 Hurricane struck Jamaica, devastating the homes and livelihoods of many. My beloved family and friends in Western Jamaica have been deeply affected. Many have lost everything they own — homes destroyed or severely damaged — and entire communities are now without electricity or running water.

They survived the storm, but now they must survive the aftermath. Many are in urgent need of basic necessities: food, clean drinking water, shelter, clothing, medical and cleaning supplies, as well as building materials.

My name is Ashley Powell, and I have created this account to assist my Family — as well as others in the communities of St. James and Hanover Parish. These areas have suffered devastating damage to homes, schools, and small businesses.

All donations will go directly toward rebuilding efforts, purchasing food and essential supplies, and helping families recover and rebuild. Every contribution - no matter the amount - makes a meaningful difference. Despite their losses, Your generosity will help them regain hope and stability in the days ahead. We remain grateful to God for life, and we hold onto faith as we rebuild together.
