<div><strong>On October 28, 2025, a Category 5 Hurricane struck Jamaica, devastating the homes and livelihoods of many.</strong> My beloved family and friends in Western Jamaica have been deeply affected. Many have lost everything they own — homes destroyed or severely damaged — and entire communities are now without electricity or running water.

<div>They survived the storm, but now they must survive the aftermath. <em>Many are in urgent need of basic necessities: food, clean drinking water, shelter, clothing, medical and cleaning supplies, as well as building materials.</em>

<div>My name is Ashley Powell, and I have created this account to assist my Family — as well as others in the <strong>communities of St. James and Hanover Parish</strong>.<strong> These areas have suffered devastating damage to homes, schools, and small businesses.</strong>
