Hello everybody,
My name is Motaz Ashraf Al-Ghalayini, I am a 19-year-old student from Gaza, Palestine, studying Cybersecurity at the University College of Applied Sciences in Gaza City.
For more than two years, Gaza has been suffering through continuous war and destruction. Many students like me have lost access to education, stable internet, and even basic living needs. Our homes and universities were affected, and life has become extremely difficult — but I am still determined to continue my studies and build a better future.
I have always been passionate about technology and online safety. My dream is to become a cybersecurity specialist who protects organizations and people from digital threats, and to one day use my skills to rebuild and secure systems that support my community.
Sadly, I cannot continue my education now because I cannot afford my tuition fees. My university charges 32 Jordanian Dinars per credit hour, and my program requires 143 hours in total — around $8,000 USD. Without paying these fees, I cannot register for my next courses, and my education will be delayed indefinitely.
This campaign is my last hope to stay on track with my studies despite the challenges of war and financial hardship.
Your support — no matter how small — will help me pay for my courses, a new computer, stay in school, and move one step closer to my dream. Even sharing this campaign can make a difference.
I promise to keep everyone updated on my progress, share photos and news from my studies, and show how your kindness is helping me move forward.
Thank you from my heart for believing in education, hope, and humanity.
Moataz Ashraf Al-Ghalayini
