Hi, my name is Rebecca, and I am the founder of Refresh Kits.
Refresh Kits c.i.c is a community-led initiative supporting young people by providing hygiene education, confidence-building workshops, and access to essential hygiene products.
Because for too many young people, something as basic as soap, deodorant, or toothpaste is not guaranteed.
Hygiene poverty is a hidden issue, but its impact is visible every day.
Young people are:
- Missing school
- Avoiding social situations
- Experiencing bullying and shame
- Struggling with confidence and self-esteem
All because they don’t have access to basic hygiene products.
One student said:
“I didn’t know some people don’t have these things… we should help, not judge.”
That’s exactly why Refresh Kits exists.
What Refresh Kits Does:
- Deliver free workshops in schools and community spaces
- Create safe, judgement-free conversations around hygiene and self-esteem
- Provide hygiene kits with essentials like soap, deodorant, toothpaste, and period products
- Run drop-in sessions where young people can access support privately
Each kit gives a young person:
- The confidence to attend school
- The ability to feel clean and comfortable
- A sense of dignity

How Your Donation Helps
Every contribution makes a real difference:

- £50+ – Supports multiple students and workshop delivery
The Impact So Far
Through our workshops:
- Up to 100% of students report increased awareness of hygiene and stigma
- Students feel more confident supporting themselves and others
- Safe spaces are created where young people feel seen and heard
