Joe & Linda Mitchell are sponsoring this GoFundMe for their son, Matthew Mitchell. Matt has been diagnosed with Idiopathic Progressive Pulmonary Fibrosis and is now given less than one year to live , unless he has a double lung transplant. Current medical costs have exceeded and are exceeding the amount collected and needs renewed giving/help.

Matt was adopted at the age of 6 months from the country of El Salvador.

He grew up in Deptford, NJ, and graduated from Deptford HS. After that, he moved to Alpharetta, GA, and finally to Gulfport/Biloxi, MS, where he now resides with his partner and grandson. Matt no longer can work due to his disease. Medical bills, as well as living costs, are piling up. He's lost 75 pounds and is now on oxygen, most of the time. He is currently going through the process of qualifying for the lung transplant, but in the meantime, he and his family are struggling to make ends meet and are in dire need of help.

We are trying to raise money to see Matt and his family through this trying time and allow them to survive this crisis.
