Hello you Beautiful Human!! My name is Madeline Marinez but most call me Maddie for short. I was born and raised in The Boogie Down Bronx

I am in recovery from substance use after battling it for 14 Long years. In July of 2024 I finally Broke the chains of addiction. I created "Boots On Ground Inc." because some of my hungriest and loneliest times was during active substance use. I’ve been all over the NYC shelter system and I know the pain and struggle all too well. I am also a single mom who was a teen mom trying to make it out here with no skills or degrees. I have worn many many shoes and I’ve walked in them in this life time but I’m GRATEFUL for every experience because it brought me to who I am today . Saturday Mornings We go to the South Bronx with hot home made oatmeal, fresh croissants and a hot full breakfast. The goal right now is to help as many people as we can. To become the community We so desperately need.

I make the oatmeal and breakfast with lots of love in hopes that it can help keep someone going. Boots on ground will be working on an other projects like coat drives, clothing drives ect. LOVE ALWAYS WINS❤️WE ONLY SPREAD LOVE AROUND HERE❤️This is only the beginning THANK YOU!!
