From our first issue to the most recent one, our mission has been simple: to give the community something useful, interesting, informative, entertaining, and freely accessible.

But today, we’re facing a crossroads.

The costs of printing, paper, and delivery have risen and with them, the pressure to fill every page with advertising just to stay afloat. Our loyal local sponsors and businesses have supported us generously for years, but many are now stretched thin themselves, navigating the same rising costs and uncertainty we face.

And so the weight has fallen increasingly on our shoulders to cover the cost, trying to keep the paper alive by chasing ads, while the time and space for writing good stories shrinks.
