Irob, one of the two ethnic minorities in Tigray, inhabits the Ethio-Eritrean borderland region. Despite the war's end, its impact lingers. Eritrean soldiers continue to occupy half of Irobland, and they have blockaded the only road connecting Irob to Adigrat town. The situation remains dire.
