Why we need your help

Inner Light C.I.C was born from lived experience — as a single mum and carer of a child with special needs, I know how isolating, exhausting, and overwhelming life can feel. Traditional yoga spaces often don’t meet the needs of carers, trauma survivors, or families who need the most support.

That’s why we created Inner Light: a non-profit dedicated to trauma-informed, inclusive yoga and wellbeing practices. Our first SEN-friendly yoga class sold out in just one day — proof that the need is huge.

What your donation will do

Offer free or low-cost yoga classes for SEN families, carers, and those struggling with stress.

Run monthly healing retreats to help parents, carers and social workers release trauma, build resilience, and reconnect with themselves.

Develop our Youth Ambassador Pathway — empowering young people to become community leaders in wellbeing.

Cover essential running costs (compliance, equipment, insurance, digital materials) while we grow and apply for grants.

Our fundraising ensures that we can keep sessions free and accessible to those who need them most.

Every £10 funds a yoga mat and a safe place for someone to breathe again.

Every £50 supports a family to attend a restorative session together.

Every £100 helps us run a trauma-informed retreat for our community.
