Meet Hiedi

Hiedi is my big sister, my hero, and my best friend. She’s the kind of person who makes you laugh when you feel like crying — strong, kind, and absolutely unforgettable. Her dream has always been to travel cross-country in an RV — to chase sunsets, stop at silly roadside attractions, and live freely and fully.

The Hard News

Recently, we received devastating news: Hiedi’s cancer has spread and is no longer curable. But if you know her, you know she’s not one to give up her joy. With her wife Dionne by her side and me cheering her on, she’s choosing memories over fear, adventure over despair, and joy over everything.

We’re making it happen — an 18-day RV adventure with 4–5 days stationed at the breathtaking Yellowstone National Park, Hiedi’s dream destination. Together, the three of us — Hiedi, Dionne, and me — will travel the open road, soak in the moments, and film the journey to create a short documentary filled with laughter, love, and resilience.
