Help Get SOTS to NYC!

Hi! We’re Stand-Out Theatre School (SOTS) — a passionate, inclusive theatre school based in Falkirk, Scotland.

We opened our doors just two years ago with only 7 students, and today we’re proud to have over 150 young people attending classes every week. We're delighted to have been invited to perform at the 2026 New York City Tartan Day Parade and we’re raising funds to take some of our incredible young performers and their grown-ups on this once-in-a-lifetime trip.

This opportunity offers so much more than a performance. For some of our children this will be their first time on an airplane! We’ll be seeing Broadway shows, visit iconic sights like the Statue of Liberty and take workshops at Broadway Dance Center, all while making unforgettable memories.

The group includes children with a range of needs and abilities and creating an experience where every young person can feel supported, included, and celebrated is incredibly important to us.

We’re aiming to raise £20,000 — we know, it’s a big number! But we always tell our students to aim for the stars, so we’re practicing what we preach. Every penny helps, and even a £1 donation gets us closer to that goal.
