Help Feed the Hungry: COVID-19 Relief

During these trying times, there are people in our community who need our support more than ever. 1 in 10 people in Wake County live below the poverty line, and they are relying more than ever upon food banks so they can feed their families. Food banks in NC have experienced a 150% increase in the number of people they're seeing. Along with this, they are shortchanged on volunteers during these times, and the NC National Guard has been called in to help them operate so they don't shut down.
If just 350 people donate $20, we can reach our goal of $7,000 and provide 35,000 nutritious meals to those who need it in our community. The money raised from this will be used by the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC to get more food and distribute it to local soup kitchens, Meals On Wheels, the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, and more. Every dollar counts and is appreciated.
