Help Duke on His Road to Recovery

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We are reaching out with a humble heart to ask for your support for Duke, a beloved friend, artist, and pillar of the Denver Goth community who recently survived a serious medical emergency that turned his world upside down.

If you know Duke, you know he is outgoing, hilarious, and full of life—the kind of person who can make anyone laugh with his quick wit and who has always been there for others. Whether through his love of music, his dark humor, or just being a genuinely great person, Duke has made an impact on so many lives.

On Friday, February 21st, Duke faced a sudden and severe health crisis that led to an extended ICU stay and life-saving interventions. After days of sedation, he woke up disoriented, struggling to recognize the world around him, and facing significant challenges in regaining his strength and clarity. As of 02/28/2025, Duke is still in the ICU and at this time, unfortunately, there is no discharge date. While he is fighting hard to recover, it will take time, medical care, and support from the community he has given so much to over the years.

Duke has always been strong, independent, and never one to ask for help. But now, as his bills pile up and he remains unable to work, we are humbly asking for any support you can give—whether that’s a donation, a share, or simply keeping him in your thoughts.
