Hi, I'm Jens, and I’m a non-binary, green haired, German designer living in London and Palermo. I am working on a long-term project to create a new clothing size system specifically for transwomen.

Women’s clothing today is designed around cisgender body standards. For many transwomen, this means clothes often don’t fit correctly, which can be frustrating, discouraging, and deeply affecting to confidence and self-expression.

Since 2013, I have been developing a new sizing concept that takes transfeminine bodies into account from the very beginning, so feminine clothing can be designed to fit better, feel better, and look better.

This GoFundMe campaign is the next crucial step in making that possible.

What This Fundraiser Will Support:

To build an accurate and inclusive size system, I need real, diverse body measurements from transwomen.

The funds raised will be used to create and distribute measuring kits, which will include:

A high-quality measuring tape

A set of LGBTQ+ themed, locally designed stickers

These kits will be sent out to people, groups, associations who want to participate in the project and contribute their measurements.

By collecting enough data, I can develop size charts and proportions that truly reflect transfeminine bodies, laying the foundation for better clothing design in the future and as the next step approach fashion labels with the new size system.

Ciao, mi chiamo Jens e sono uno stilista non-binary, con i capelli verdi. Sono tedesco e vive tra Londra e Palermo. Sto lavorando a un progetto a lungo termine per creare un nuovo sistema di taglie specificamente pensato per le donne trans.

L'abbigliamento femminile oggi è progettato secondo standard basati su corpi cisgender. Per molte donne trans, questo significa che i vestiti spesso non vestono correttamente. Per costruire un sistema di taglie accurato e inclusivo, ho bisogno di misurazioni reali e diversificate di donne trans.

L’abbigliamento è più di semplice tessuto. Influisce su come ci vediamo, su quanto ci sentiamo al sicuro e su come ci muoviamo nel mondo.

Le donne trans meritano abiti progettati pensando a loro.

Um ein genaues und inklusives Größensystem zu entwickeln, benötige ich reale und vielfältige Körpermaße von Transfrauen.

Die gesammelten Spenden werden verwendet, um Messkits zu erstellen und zu verteilen. Diese enthalten:

Transfrauen verdienen Kleidung, die mit ihnen im Blick entworfen wird – nicht als nachträgliche Anpassung bestehender Systeme.
