Help Complete Jardi de Llum’s Final Chapter

Imagine a place where love and nature unite—a haven for retreat, celebration, and healing. That’s Jardi de Llum’s purpose to be here, a magical sanctuary created by our dear friends Bijan and Shamataa.

Nearly three decades ago, this inspiring couple embarked on a dream—not just for themselves, but for a world where peace, joy, and awakening could flourish. For 18 years, they lived in a camper van, pouring their hearts, energy, and resources into making this vision a reality.

How a Well led us to create a Farm

The costs of completing the well at Jardi de Llum unexpectedly skyrocketed due to a series of challenges that started a few months ago when Bijan and Shamataa began building a well.

First, they received a fine of 6,600€ for exceeding the one-year limit on the drilling permit after someone reported them to the authorities.

This fine also required them to apply for a new permit—but the only option available was to apply as farmers and reconvert part of their land into agricultural farming to secure the necessary license to complete the well.

To meet the new permit requirements, this option implied that they had to fence off a portion of our land and convert it into grazing ground for animals. This involved clearing the area, cutting and processing trees for fencing, repairing walls…

The scope of work required for this conversion nearly doubled the initial costs, leaving them in need of a financial boost to move forward.

Here is where we can step in

Every euro you contribute will directly support: tree cutting and processing into poles, wall repairs and fencing to secure the new farm area for animals, engineer agricultural project and legalization of the well, pump, electricity and plumbing work.

· 1000€: 1 week holiday retreat with food and 2 sessions with Bijan included

UPDATE 30/11/24

We’re absolutely thrilled and deeply moved by the support and generosity each of you has shown for this cause. In just two weeks since launching this campaign, we’ve made great progress! We’ve already managed to clear a significant part of the area and burn a good amount of branches. In the coming days, we’ll bring in a tractor to speed up the clearing process even further.
