The COALITION FOR A BETTER ST CATHARINES is a group of passionate residents who believe our city deserves better than the dangerous, toxic abandoned GM industrial site that sits in the heart of our community. For years, elected officials have made promises to address this issue, but little has been done. Meanwhile, families and neighbors are exposed to harmful industrial chemicals and forced to live alongside rundown, unsightly buildings that threaten our health and the future of St Catharines.

We know that change is possible. The city and other stakeholders have the power to clean up this site and transform it into a dynamic opportunity for growth, safety, and inspiration. Our coalition is dedicated to keeping the pressure on, raising awareness, and reminding our elected officials that they can—and must—do much better for the people of St. Catharines.
