Lateef is a teaching artist, father, capoerista, bright spirit and beloved member of the Capoeira Batuque family dedicated to capoeira Angola, storytelling and liberation. Lateef lost his family home in Altadena in the Eaton Fire. He had recently inherited the home from his godfather and was in the process of repairing it with a focus on creating an art studio and living space.
The Capoeira Batuque community is hosting this page in hopes you will support our brother in recovering from this devastating fire. We know there are so many campaigns that deserve support right now. Sharing this page is a great option if you can’t donate.
