<div>Lateef is a teaching artist, father, capoerista, bright spirit and beloved member of the Capoeira Batuque family dedicated to capoeira Angola, storytelling and liberation. Lateef lost his family home in Altadena in the Eaton Fire. He had recently inherited the home from his godfather and was in the process of repairing it with a focus on creating an art studio and living space.
