First, thank you—truly—to every single one of you who has been praying, sending messages, and showing up for our family.

Tonight, Bubby was diagnosed with leukemia.

We don’t know everything yet, but we’re beginning this journey with heavy hearts and a lot of unknowns. Tomorrow, we’ll learn more. He’s being admitted to Children’s Mercy, where we expect to stay at least a week—possibly much longer, even a month or more.

Tomorrow, he’ll undergo a bone marrow draw to determine whether he has ALL (acute lymphoblastic leukemia) or AML (acute myeloid leukemia). We’ll meet his care team and start to get a clearer picture of his treatment plan and timeline.

We are scared. We are heartbroken. We are clinging tightly to faith and hope on a rollercoaster we never saw coming.

Please—continue to pray for our boy.
