<div>We don’t know everything yet, but we’re beginning this journey with heavy hearts and a lot of unknowns. Tomorrow, we’ll learn more. He’s being admitted to Children’s Mercy, where we expect to stay at least a week—possibly much longer, even a month or more.

<div>Tomorrow, he’ll undergo a bone marrow draw to determine whether he has ALL (acute lymphoblastic leukemia) or AML (acute myeloid leukemia). We’ll meet his care team and start to get a clearer picture of his treatment plan and timeline.

<div>We are scared. We are heartbroken. We are clinging tightly to faith and hope on a rollercoaster we never saw coming.
