Hello and thanks for checking out my fundraiser! My name is Gabrielle, the lead artist behind The Luma Lotus.

I am super excited to have the honor of being a 2026 Burning Man Artist. Dozens of hours and hundred of dollars have already been poured into the lotus, but more is still needed.

The Luma Lotus is an interactive sculptural piece designed to invite passerby’s to take a moment to stop, climb inside, and be present with the moment and those around them.

In order to make the lotus Playa ready, the light system needs to be upgraded, and funds to help transport are also being considered. The goal is to get a completely solar powered system to run the lighting, allowing for it to be run fully on renewable energy. Better for the environment, cleaner for power, but hefty on the pockets. Majority of the goal amount will help to cover the costs of this.

The remaining amount is to take into consideration transportation to get me and my crew there to build and display the lotus. Gas is at an all time high, and the trek from Oklahoma to Nevada is not a cheap one. We will also have to look into trailer needs as well, as the lotus measures about 15’ around.
