Esther Chambliss, a loving 74-year-old grandmother to four and devoted mother to her only son Corey, is currently facing a medical emergency far from home. While on vacation in Punta Cana, Esther suffered a severe accident, breaking the bone in her knee in two places. She is now in the hospital with her leg in a cast to stabilize the injury, but she urgently needs surgery that cannot be delayed.

Esther’s health conditions, including high blood pressure and diabetes, make her situation even more critical. The longer she waits for surgery, the greater the risk of dangerous complications like blood clots. Being in a foreign country has made it difficult for our family to communicate with her doctors and arrange the care she needs. We are doing everything we can to bring Esther back to the United States so she can receive the surgery and support she needs to recover safely.
