Ahmed did not lose just his legs in the war —
he lost his home, his family’s safety, and the life he once knew.
On December 16, 2023, Ahmed’s sister was killed during the war in Gaza.
On December 26, 2023, his father was seriously injured.
On January 19, 2024, Ahmed himself was critically injured by an airstrike.
One day later, on January 20, 2024, doctors were forced to amputate both of his legs to save his life.
The suffering continued when Ahmed’s brother was also injured on July 27.
As if this was not enough, Ahmed’s family home was completely destroyed.
There is no house to return to. No safe place left.
On March 6, 2025, Ahmed entered Egypt seeking medical treatment and a chance to survive.
But survival comes at a cost he simply cannot afford.
The reality is painful but clear:
– Ahmed’s medical treatment and surgeries: $36,000
– Prosthetic legs, rehabilitation, and long-term medication
– Medical treatment for his injured father and brother
- A basic replacement home for the family (minimum): $30,000
This is not a story about loss alone it is about a man trying to stand again after war took everything from him.
We are raising $105,000 to help Ahmed and his family rebuild their lives with dignity -
to heal, to recover, and to have a place to call home again.
Every donation brings Ahmed closer to walking again.
Every share keeps this family from being forgotten.
Thank you for standing with Ahmed when the world turned away.
My name is Ziad, I am french, and I am currently handling this fundraising campaign for my friend Ahmed Imad Ahmed Khader, a young Palestinian from Gaza.
I will send all of the funds directly to Ahmed through bank transfers and Western Union
