I’m trying to raise enough money to be able to fix up the vehicle I just bought a couple of months ago for $3500, after having my vehicle repossessed by my ex over 3 years ago. Already put $1000 into tires-brakes and rotors on my 1996 jeep commander.

I’m a survivor of DV and SA. I’m a 28 year old mama and a stay-at-home mama to my special needs son and currently been fighting to bring my oldest 2 kiddos home for good over 3 years with no lawyer while my ex has had one this entire time.

 Not only am I trying to fix up my vehicle to be able to take my special needs son to all of his appointments and therapy, I’m trying to be able to start DoorDashing to bring back my oldest 2 kiddos from the man that abused me for 6 years. Been fighting for 3 years with no lawyer and proved my cptsd and anxiety isn’t an issue to take my kids away. With no proof of neglect he took my kids bc I was about to leave him he used the trauma he cause and trauma my bio and adopted family caused in my life again me. With graduating supervision with people we chose in the beginning process and superved visits in a facility. Graduated therapy with my daughter and individual therapy! Did parenting classes. I’ve done EVERYTHING THE COURTS ASKED ME TO- including signing over all my therapy sessions notes bc I was forced to in court. 

  Fighting to rebuild my life for my kids. It hasn’t been easy, but with God by my side, I can conquer any obstacle that comes my way to better my kids' future.

Been in our first apartment since November 2024-  got everything for the kids to make it a safe/ fun place to be. Just bought my first car after having mine repossessed 3 year ago!  

I’ve already replaced all 4 tires due to tire rot, replaced all brakes and rotors, tried replacing the AC but found some issues, and the vehicle has a new battery! Already put over $1k into the vehicle.

I got a quote from Brakes Plus on the other issues. Photo is attached! Will not be taking my car to them again for scamming me for the brakes and rotors, in hopes I can find a small reliable mechanic in Colorado that won’t take me for granted like Brakes Plus did!
