Hello! Our names are Catherine, Eevee, and Tooth, and we are currently homeless and escaping domestic violence. We have at this point been homeless for over a year and have just gotten out of a very unsafe living environment, we are safe for now and managed to get to a hotel for a few weeks through mutual aid while we figure out what to do next. The three of us have been couch surfing up until this point and it has left us really exposed to some pretty intense systematic abuse, physical abuse, and sexual assault, much of it discriminatory (ableism, transphobia, etc).

All of us are all disabled in various ways, all of us deal with dissociative issues and PTSD (amongst other things) and it's severely limited our opportunities to make stable income. Catherine is able to work but is limited to art/animation work and can’t continue to do so until we have stable housing and an internet connection. Eevee struggles with psychological issues that keep her from going outside most days and interfere with her ability to function on very basic levels. Tooth specifically has a great deal of difficulty walking on her own due to chronic pain issues and has to use a cane and also struggles with narcolepsy, she has had to rely on us a lot for various needs and we are struggling to be able to account for those needs as well as our own.

A case worker has been helping us secure stable housing and disability aid in the future, but this is likely a few months from now and we don’t really have the funds to afford a hotel for that amount of time. Ideally we would find a place cheaper and more safe than a hotel, however we cannot afford to be choosy right now.

The funding goal for this is a bit arbitrary, truthfully need whatever help we can get right now. With our various disabilities and lack of funds, this will very likely put us in danger of actually getting hurt or worse. We really just need to be able to buy ourselves time for our efforts with our social worker to show results so we don't end up sleeping on a park bench somewhere.
