On 20th January, after a long wait of several years, Hallie's much-loved Uncle Philip finally had his stem cell transplant to help combat a rare form of lymphoma. He is now facing a long period of recovery which includes the initial few weeks and possibly months, in isolation.
During this time, we wanted to do something positive, so Hallie has decided that she would like to climb as many Dartmoor Tors as possible, and will keep going until Philip is allowed home. This could be as little as one month or as many as 3 or 4, depending on his recovery. Therefore, we will just keep going! All money raised will go to Anthony Nolan - a charity which has given invaluable advice and support to Philip and our family, as well as many other people who are waiting for stem cell transplants. If you are able to spare a few pennies for this worthwhile charity, please follow the link.
