Rochester Skatepark

Mission Statement

The Skate Park Leadership Advisory Team’s (SPLAT) mission is to lead, coordinate, and implement efforts to raise funds for an outdoor, free, community skatepark to be located in the city of Rochester, Michigan.  The SPLAT seeks to pursue fund raising strategies, at a grass roots level, as well as securing grant funding in order to pay for the design and construction of the skatepark.   In addition, SPLAT continues to educate and enhance social awareness pertaining to the benefits of providing for the recreational, emotional, physical, and environmental demands for individual sports.

Who Monitors the Funds?

Community Foundation of Greater Rochester is a Non Profit 501 (c)(3) Organization located in Downtown Rochester, Michigan. 
They are literally the "Community's Foundation" because their sole purpose is to identify charitable resources within the Greater Rochester area and preserve those resources for the community’s benefit.
