Proactive Plus is a small, family-run disability support provider that was established nearly two years ago by husband-and-wife team, Clinton and Renee. We are a registered NDIS provider and founded Proactive Plus because we knew we could deliver a higher standard of support than what we were seeing elsewhere. Our focus has always been on genuinely person-centred care, dignity, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of people with disability.

In addition to our support services, Proactive Plus is currently fundraising for Baylee, a 5-year-old child living with complex and profound disabilities. Baylee has Level 4 cerebral palsy, partial trisomy 11q (a rare genetic chromosomal abnormality), sprengel's deformity, scoliosis, epilepsy, severe hip dysplasia, and significant feeding challenges. She requires full support for mobility and all aspects of personal care and has two older siblings who also rely on the family’s support and care.

Through this fundraising effort, we aim to support Baylee and her family by raising awareness and helping to meet the additional care and equipment needs that come with such complex disabilities.

Through incredible community support, Baylee and her family have already raised $30,000—it has taken them just over a year to get to this milestone. They are now seeking help to reach their final goal of $65,000 to purchase a fully wheelchair accessible vehicle—a Hyundai Staria, coming from NSW, which is expected to be ready by mid this year.

This van will be truly life-changing for Baylee. It will make transfers safer and easier for her parents, provide greater comfort and dignity through an in-vehicle changing bench, and allow Baylee to travel securely in her wheelchair. Most importantly, it will support increased independence, reduce physical strain on her carers and parents, and enable greater social participation—allowing Baylee to be more involved in everyday life, community activities, and family outings.
