So, this evening (06/08/25), I tried to do the right thing. A lady was at the fuel station in Wigston, and her card kept being declined.

I offered to pay for her fuel, and gave her my bank details and contact number. She promised that she'd transfer the money as soon as she got home.

That didn't happen.

I would like to donate the amount that she didn't send (£25.01) and anything that anybody else sends would be greatly received.

My act of kindness was taken advantage of.
