Tullahassee, Oklahoma is the oldest historical black town in Oklahoma.  This town is full of history that so desperately needs to be preserved.  I, Keisha Currin, am currently the Mayor for Tullahassee.  This town is desperately need of your help.  A financial audit is needed that could help the town obtain grants in the future.  Their are old bills, such as a water bill that needs to be paid as soon as possible.  

The town is currently in debt to our water supply company, Porter Oklahoma.  At one point, the town was in fear of losing its water supply that would have left the town without any means for water.  Tullahassee, currently has a payment arrangement with the water company to make payments.  However, fundraisers through out the year are carried out to meet those arrangements.

Tullahassee has several historical buildings, nationally registered that needs to be restored, as well as the towns Civic Center and basketball gym.   The majority of our community are elderly that will benefit from the structuring of the town.  Tullahassee,  currently have small children who has recently moved into the community that would benefit greatly from all donations.

The donations received will be applied towards the towns water bills and other old bills accrued over the past years.  I am very grateful for any and all donations, anything you can give would help.  Also, spreading the word about the oldest historical black town in Oklahoma would very much appreciated as well.  Your support means the world to me and our community.
