I -Sebastian- have been helping Open Hearts for orphans and widows for about 4 years. I can attest to the legitimacy of this place. They are a beautiful organization in Uganda that help orphans and widows, the marginalized. Every time I donate to them, God finds a way to provide that money back to me and/or bless me in different ways.
I have done video calls with David Katawalba- one of the leaders of the organization- and I have talked to the kids and the widows. David always sends me pictures of the items that they buy with the money provided to them.
Their need is real. They are always looking for sponsors and donors. They are also always ready to receive visitors in the orphanage.
I'm creating this gofundme, because I have been helping the orphanage pretty much on my own, and it has barely helped them get the food and items they need. I believe as a community of people, we can help them achieve some of their goals. At the moment, they are in need of:
-Buying materials to finish up one of their buidings
-Buying a car to transport food and materials when they go to the market
-Purchasing enough monthly food and school materials
The bigger the buildings the more people the can help. The orphanage teaches the kids handy skills to succeed later in life. They also feed them and make sure the kids go to school and do well in their exams. That is their way out of poverty.
I will be sending them every bit of help donated to this fundraiser. I am a man of my word. I will provide proof of receipts and pictures of the projects finalized
