 Help Support Matt, Mandy, and Their Family After a Devastating Accident
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 On Friday, August 7, our dear friend Matt was involved in a devastating accident.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Matt was at the dump unloading parts from the back of his truck when a piece broke loose, throwing him approximately 10–12 feet into a concrete pit. He landed flat on his back and was rushed to the hospital in Franklin before being transferred to a trauma center in Nashville.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 After further evaluation, doctors discovered that Matt had suffered a severe L2 burst fracture. He’s lucky to still have full function of his limbs and even luckier to still be alive, but due to the extent of his injuries, surgery was imperative. On Sunday morning, Matt underwent an L1–L3 spinal fusion. Thankfully, the surgery was successful, but Matt now faces a long and difficult road of recovery, rehabilitation, and healing.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 For those who know Matt, you know how hard he works. Matt is the owner of Pure Water Pools and has built his business with his own two hands and through years of hard work and dedication. He is also the sole income provider for his family—his wife, Mandy, and their two children, Kona and Kaileia.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Right now, their entire world has been turned upside down.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong>Matt will be unable to work for a minimum of six months, leaving the family facing an extended period with little to no income while also dealing with substantial medical expenses, rehabilitation, household bills, and the everyday costs of taking care of their family.</strong>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We are hoping to raise $25,000 to help give Matt, Mandy, Kona, and Kaileia some financial breathing room during this incredibly difficult season.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Every dollar raised will go directly toward helping their family cover:
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 • Medical bills and ongoing treatment
</div>
<div>
 • Rehabilitation and recovery expenses
</div>
<div>
 • Mortgage, utilities, and household bills
</div>
<div>
 • Groceries and everyday living expenses
</div>
<div>
 • Transportation and other unexpected costs that come with Matt’s recovery
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 If you know Matt and Mandy, you know the kind of people they are—hardworking, generous, and always willing to show up for the people they love. Now it’s our turn to show up for them.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 If you are able to donate, no matter the amount, it would mean more than we can put into words. And if you’re unable to give financially, sharing this fundraiser is just as valuable. Every share helps us reach more people who may be able to support this family.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Let’s surround Matt, Mandy, Kona, and Kaileia with the love and support they need while Matt focuses on what matters most right now: healing and getting back home to his family.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for every prayer, donation, share, message, and act of kindness during this incredibly difficult time. ❤️

Support Matt, Mandy & Family after accident

<p>After seeing all the media bs about a domestic terrorist getting go fund me. I feel that the officer that was 1000 percent justified in the shooting deserves to have a go fund me. Funds will go to help him.

ICE OFFICER Jonathan Ross

<div>I -Sebastian- have been helping Open Hearts for orphans and widows for about 4 years. I can attest to the legitimacy of this place. They are a beautiful organization in Uganda that help orphans and widows, the marginalized. Every time I donate to them, God finds a way to provide that money back to me and/or bless me in different ways.
</div>
<div>I have done video calls with David Katawalba- one of the leaders of the organization- and I have talked to the kids and the widows. David always sends me pictures of the items that they buy with the money provided to them.
</div>
<div>Their need is real. They are always looking for sponsors and donors. They are also always ready to receive visitors in the orphanage.
</div>
<div>I'm creating this gofundme, because I have been helping the orphanage pretty much on my own, and it has barely helped them get the food and items they need. I believe as a community of people, we can help them achieve some of their goals. At the moment, they are in need of:
</div>
<div>-Buying materials to finish up one of their buidings
</div>
<div>-Buying a car to transport food and materials when they go to the market
</div>
<div>-Purchasing enough monthly food and school materials
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The bigger the buildings the more people the can help. The orphanage teaches the kids handy skills to succeed later in life. They also feed them and make sure the kids go to school and do well in their exams. That is their way out of poverty.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I will be sending them every bit of help donated to this fundraiser. I am a man of my word. I will provide proof of receipts and pictures of the projects finalized
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is their website if you want to know more about them, or become a monthly giver

<div>Greg Hand is a 66 year old Navy Veteran who served on the USS Nathanael Greene 636. He is a husband, father of 4 and grandfather of 6. On October 4th Greg underwent surgery for a brain aneurysm. Three days post op he suffered a severe stroke. After spending 30 days in a acute rehab hospital, he is now in his second facility to continue his rehabilitation to heal the severe physical deficits.

A Helping Hand for Greg Hand

<p>I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma with 12-15 lesions on my brain and multiple other nodes throughout my body.
</p>
<p>I have completed 10 rounds of full-brain radiation and am currently on a BRAF Inhibitor Directed Pill Therapy plan to get rid of the remaining cancerous nodes.
</p>
<p>I will have an MRI, CT Scan, and blood work done in two months to find out how effective this has all been and, if needed, make adjustments to the plan of attack if there are still cancerous spots at that point.
</p>
<p>Thank you for all of your prayers and support.
