Hi, everyone!
My name is Meijah Lieteau and I am on a mission to aid Akankwasa Children Center in Kampala, Uganda in investing in essential supplies to help and house orphaned children.
Some Background:
In 2020, Akankwasa Ali, a former orphan himself, began a small outreach ministry operating in the slums of Nsambya-kamwanyi, Kampala, Uganda. In 2021, he was able to grow the operation to support about ten children with the help of 9 friends initially giving $15 a month.
Currently, he houses, 10 orphaned children and works with 78 children in the community from vulnerable families to ensure they are provided food, shelter, clothing and medical care. The operation has grown to reach nearly 30k people worldwide on Instagram and Facebook, inviting supporters to see the triumphant times and harsh realities these little ones go through on a daily basis.
How can you help?
By visiting their social media pages, and by donating! Their goal is to offer security and a stable foundation for their community from a place of love. They hope to fulfill their dream of owning an apartment building capable of housing 88 children and a garden full of fresh vegetables, as well as cover daily costs of food, medical care, clothing, school supplies and more. You, too, can be a part of the effort by giving what you can to those who need it most. (Suggested donation of $10 is encouraged)
Note: Akankwasa children centre is a registered charity organization in the slums of Nsambya-kamwanyi, Kampala Uganda.
Thank you for your support!
