<div><strong>Some Background:</strong>

<div>In 2020, Akankwasa Ali, a former orphan himself, began a small outreach ministry operating in the slums of Nsambya-kamwanyi, Kampala, Uganda. In 2021, he was able to grow the operation to support about ten children with the help of 9 friends initially giving $15 a month.

<div>Currently, he houses, 10 orphaned children and works with 78 children in the community from vulnerable families to ensure they are provided food, shelter, clothing and medical care. The operation has grown to reach nearly 30k people worldwide on Instagram and Facebook, inviting supporters to see the triumphant times and harsh realities these little ones go through on a daily basis.

They hope to fulfill their dream of owning an apartment building capable of housing 88 children and a garden full of fresh vegetables, as well as cover daily costs of food, medical care, clothing, school supplies and more.
